Warner Bros Japan has announced that production on Record of Ragnarok IV (Season 4) is underway, confirming the next chapter of the anime adaptation. Alongside the announcement, the studio released a production announcement video, the new Season 4 logo, and commemorative illustrations and messages from the original creators.

Illustrator Azychika said Season 4 will bring one of the manga’s biggest battles to animation.

Story writer Shinya Umemura confirmed that Season 4 will adapt the series’ 10th and 11th battles.

Season 4 will focus on the 10th and 11th battle. Story structure writer Takumi Fukui also celebrated the announcement.

The Record of Ragnarok manga has been serialized in Monthly Comic Zenon (published by Coamix) since November 2017. It is written by Shinya Umemura (story) and Takumi Fukui (story structure), while Azychika handles the illustration. The manga has sold over 18 million copies so far.
