Rent a Girlfriend unveiled a new visual and trailer for Mini Yaemori ahead of the July 7 premiere of the third season. Yu Serizawa is voicing the character who will be joining the cast and who was first introduced in a teaser visual.
TMS Entertainment is returning to animate the rom-com series which is also known as Kanokari (Kanojo, Okarishimasu). Shin’ya Une is directing the upcoming third season and the staff also includes:

The story is based on a manga by Reiji Miyajima. Kodansha publishes the manga in English and describes the plot as:

After a staggering betrayal by his girlfriend, hapless freshman Kazuya gets just desperate enough to give it a try. But he quickly discovers how complicated it can be to “rent” an emotional connection, and his new “girlfriend,” who’s trying to keep her side hustle secret, will panic when she finds out her real life and Kazuya’s are intertwined in surprising ways!
