Rent-a-Girlfriend Volume 39 Releases on January 17

Rent-A-Girlfriend Volume 39 is on its way, and a kawaii Mami-chan will grace the manga’s cover. What’s Rent-A-Girlfriend About?

When his first romance goes the way of the dodo, Kazuya Kinoshita finds himself heartbroken and with his virginity intact. Missing the warmth and affection that a girlfriend brings, but not wanting to get one, he turns to the world of compensated dating. While his initial outing with the perfect girlfriend, Chizuru Mizuhara, goes great, he gets upset over it being a farce.

So, he leaves a negative review on her profile. When Chizuru confronts him about this, life throws them a curveball, and the two end up at the hospital where their grandmothers (who are best friends) are admitted. To satiate their sick grandmothers, the two fake a relationship. And their already complicated ruse deepens when they realize they’re next-door neighbors. And as the two spend more time together to keep up appearances, their “fake” relationship begins to morph into something way more real.
