Rin from Porter Robinson’s “Shelter” Gets a Figure

Rin from the music video of “Shelter” by Porter Robinson & Madeon is getting a figure set to release in January 2026. The figure is available to pre-order now until September 9, 2025, in Good Smile Company for ￥7,5000 (~$50).

Rin (voiced by Sachika Misawa) is the main protagonist of the official video for “Shelter.” The story was written by Porter Robinson, with the music created in collaboration with Madeon. The video itself was produced in partnership with Crunchyroll and animated by A-1 Pictures.

Shelter tells the story of Rin, a 17-year-old girl who lives her life inside of a futuristic simulation completely by herself in infinite, beautiful loneliness. Each day, Rin awakens in virtual reality and uses a tablet which controls the simulation to create a new, different, beautiful world for herself. Until one day, everything changes, and Rin comes to learn the true origins behind her life inside a simulation.
