The Saint Cecilia and Pastor Lawrence anime revealed a new trailer on Wednesday along with the theme song information. J-pop duo ClariS is performing the opening theme song titled “Koi Sekai” and the ending theme song “Toko Siesta” is sung by the musical artist Sasanomaly. Both songs are featured in the latest trailer. The anime will premiere on July 12 after it was delayed due to COVID-19 and it will have a special screening of the first episode on July 3 at Anime Expo.
Studio Doga Kobo is animating the series with Sumie Noro as director. Yuka Yamada is writing the scripts, Nakagawa Hiromi doing the character designs, and Ruka Kawada composing the music. The anime previously revealed a trailer and visual last year and two character videos at Anime Japan 2023. The cast includes the following:

The Saint Cecilia and Pastor Lawrence anime is based on the manga series by Kazutake Hazano which has been serialized in Kodansha’s Shonen Magazine R online magazine since 2017 and it currently has 12 volumes in circulation. Kodansha is licensing the series in English and they describe the first volume as follows:
Saint Cecilia is beloved by the townspeople—not only is she elegant and composed, she benevolently shares her wisdom with all who seek it. That is, until the last person has left—at which point she becomes totally hopeless! Only Pastor Lawrence, is keeping the Saint put together enough to do her duties…and though she may test him, it’s all in a day’s work!
