SAKAMOTO DAYS will launch its first smartphone game titled SAKAMOTO DAYS: Dangerous Puzzle in Spring 2025. The game is also known as Sakapuzz, and pre-registrations have already opened for Japan. You can check out the game’s teaser trailer below.

The cast from the anime is all in the game. It includes:

  • Tomokazu Sugita as Taro Sakamoto
  • Nobunaga Shimazaki as Shin Asakura
  • Ayane Sakura as Lu Xiaotang
  • Nao Toyama as Aoi Sakamoto
  • Hina Kino as Hana Sakamoto
  • Ryota Suzuki as Heisuke Mashimo
  • Natsuki Hanae as Nagumo
  • Taku Yashiro as Shishiba
  • Saori Hayami as Osaragi

SAKAMOTO DAYS: Dangerous Puzzle will feature simple Match-3 mechanics, having players combine pieces of the same color to attack enemies and unleash ultimate attacks. Besides the main characters, players will be able to recruit unique assassins and build their own team composition.

The highlighted features include:

  • Grow Your Shop and Rake in Profits: As you progress through the game, your store will expand! The larger the shop, the higher the sales. Use the coins you earn to upgrade your characters.
  • Recruit Characters to Work Part-Time at the Store: Assign characters you’ve obtained to work at the store. Talk to them for exclusive part-time job comments!
  • Surprise Guests from the Original Manga May Visit: Rare customers might stop by your store. Good things may happen if you meet them—find out by playing the game!

SAKAMOTO DAYS is a Japanese manga by Yuto Suzuki. It has been serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine since 2020. There are currently 193 chapters, with 19 published volumes as of November 1, 2024. VIZ Media licensed the manga in English.

The anime adaptation by TMS Entertainment will premiere on January 11 and run for 2 split cours. The second cour will premiere in July 2025. Its main staff includes Masaki Watanabe as the director, Yo Moriyama as the character designer, Yuto Suzuki in charge of the screenplay and Taku Kishimoto in charge of the series composition.

The story follows Taro Sakamoto, a once legendary hitman who retired to marry and have a child. Now he runs a store, but his past life will not let him simply rest. Despite having attained a different physical apperance, Sakamoto will not hesistate to protect his family and take down anyone who tries to put them in danger.
