Studio TMS Entertainment is back to handle the animation, with the main staff of Masaki Watanabe as the director, Yo Moriyama as the character designer, Yuto Suzuki in charge of the screenplay and Taku Kishimoto in charge of the series composition.

Yuto Suzuki writes and draws the SAKAMOTO DAYS manga series. It has been serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine since 2020, with a total of twenty-three volumes released as of August 4, 2024. VIZ Media licensed the manga in English.

The story follows Taro Sakamoto, a legendary hitman who retired in order to marry and have a child. He now runs a store, but his past life is not that easy to get rid off. Despite looking very different as a retiree, Sakamoto will not hesitate to protect his family and take down anyone who tries to put them in danger.
