Sakamoto Days Teases Cour 2 With New Key Visual, Koki Uchiyama Joins Cast

SAKAMOTO DAYS revealed a new key visual for Cour 2, which is set to continue the anime in July 2025. Additionally, Koki Uchiyama joined the voice cast as Gaku, another member of Slur. Netflix is streaming SAKAMOTO DAYS worldwide. The first cour had 11 episodes, running from January to March 15.

Studio TMS Entertainment is in charge of the animation. The main staff includes Masaki Watanabe as the director, Yo Moriyama as the character designer, Yuto Suzuki in charge of the screenplay and Taku Kishimoto in charge of the series composition.

SAKAMOTO DAYS is a Japanese manga by Yuto Suzuki. It has been serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine since 2020, with 20 volumes released as of January 4, 2024. VIZ Media licensed the manga in English. The franchise also announced its first game for a Spring 2025 release. It is a smartphone game titled SAKAMOTO DAYS: Dangerous Puzzle.

The story follows Taro Sakamoto, a once legendary hitman who retired to marry and have a child. Now he runs a store, but his past life will not let him simply rest. Despite having attained a different physical apperance, Sakamoto will not hesistate to protect his family and take down anyone who tries to put them in danger.
