The previously announced Sorairo Utility original anime released a new trailer, visual, and additional cast members. Yostar Pictures is animating the series, set to broadcast in 2025.

The additional cast members include:
- Yumiri Hanamori as Izumi Akina
- Kazuhiko Inoue as Masao Tadokoro
- Kenyu Horiuchi as Chosuke Tanabe
- Toshiyuki Morikawa as Tetsuhiro Tanaka
Kengo Saito is directing the series and doing the character designs. Meanwhile, Yu Sato is doing the series composition. Sato is also in charge of the screenplay with Aya Satsuki and Aki Mizuki. The main cast consists of Miyu Takagi as Minami Aoba, Yurina Amami as Haruka Akane, and Ayasa Goto as Ayaka Hoshimi.

The Sorairo Utility original golf anime series was first announced in February this year. The project also has a 14-minute-long animation released in 2021. The official website for the anime series describes it as:
I’m gonna end up graduating as a nameless “Townsperson A.”
Minami Aoba was troubled.
She had no particular strengths or passions.
Is it okay for her high school life to end like this, as a background character?
She jumps out of school and searches for her own “Special Something” alone.
By chance, she ends up at a nearby golf practice range.
There, she meets Akane Haruka, who works part-time, and grasps a golf club — a “Utility.”
That was the encounter between Minami and golf.
Winning at play isn’t the only thing about golf!
Everything related to golf is enjoyable!
Together with the genius golfer Haruka and Ayaka Hoshimi, who aims to become an influencer, seeking the moment when they can become the “protagonist”!
As a super beginner, Minami swings her club again today.
