The Summer 2024 anime rankings are in, and the results have been finalized. Days with My Stepsister came in first place, followed by Too Many Losing Heroines! in second, and Oshi no Ko Season 2 in third. Over 60,000 anime fans participated in our polls throughout the season.
From June 28 to September 20, 2024, we ran weekly polls to gather feedback on each episode, and then we held a final “Anime of the Season” (AOTS) poll from September 20 to October 3, 2024. In total, 60,108 people participated to help shape the final results.
We used a weighted system for the rankings. The AOTS poll made up 55% of the final score, while the remaining 45% came from the weekly rankings over the 12-week period. This approach gave us a balanced picture of both the season’s top shows and their week-to-week performance.
To keep things fair and accurate, we implemented safeguards like limiting votes to one per IP address and logging the votes to prevent any manipulation.
