Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 3 revealed the Episode 13 preview images and synopsis ahead of its September 20 premiere. The anime has introduced the future Rudeus and set up a dark atmosphere for the rest of the season, with the upcoming episode set to reveal the contents of the future diary. Crunchyroll is streaming the anime as part of its Summer 2026 lineup.

“Consult Nanahoshi. Send a letter to Eris. Be wary of the Man-God, but do not antagonize him.” These were the words left behind by Rudeus from the future. Rudeus opens the diary entrusted to him by his elderly future self. Within its pages lies the harrowing account of the life his future self endured, a tragic journey that began with Roxy’s death.
The main staff for the anime was previously announced and includes:

Season 3 began with Volume 14, for which Seven Seas describes the story:
Nanahoshi, Rudeus, and the rest of their group take a trip to Perugius’s mysterious floating fortress, seeking adventure and a once-in-a-lifetime chance to learn new magic. What they find instead is disaster as one of their number is struck down by a deadly illness. How far will Rudeus go to save a dear friend’s life?

The anime is based on a light novel by Rifujin na Magonote with Shirotaka’s illustrations. Seven Seas is publishing the light novel in English.
The series is also launching a game titled Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation – Chronicle of Echoes this year. It is a free-to-play game with in-app purchases developed by ASOBIMO.
