Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 3 revealed the Episode 14 preview images and synopsis ahead of its September 27 premiere. The anime entered its darkest episodes yet with the introduction of future Rudeus and his diary, with the next episode expected to conclude the arc and show how current Rudy will move forward. Crunchyroll is streaming the anime as part of its Summer 2026 lineup.

After finishing Old Rudeus’s diary, Rudeus begins taking action to protect his beloved family and prevent the tragic future that awaits them. While keeping the existence of Old Rudeus and the details surrounding him hidden from Sylphiette and Roxy, he warns them that their family may be in danger. And then, there is also the matter of “Eris”…

Season 3 began with Volume 14, for which Seven Seas describes the story:
Nanahoshi, Rudeus, and the rest of their group take a trip to Perugius’s mysterious floating fortress, seeking adventure and a once-in-a-lifetime chance to learn new magic. What they find instead is disaster as one of their number is struck down by a deadly illness. How far will Rudeus go to save a dear friend’s life?

The anime is based on a light novel by Rifujin na Magonote with Shirotaka’s illustrations. Seven Seas is publishing the light novel in English.
The series is also launching a game titled Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation – Chronicle of Echoes this year. It is a free-to-play game with in-app purchases developed by ASOBIMO.
