Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 3 revealed the Episode 12 preview images and synopsis ahead of its September 13 premiere. The episode previously released the “Turning Point 4” episode, introducing a future Rudeus and setting up a dark atmosphere for the rest of the season. Crunchyroll is streaming the anime as part of its Summer 2026 lineup.

“I came from the future.”
The old man who suddenly appeared said this to Rudeus. As Rudeus stood there bewildered, the old man began to tell him about the cruel and tragic events that would soon befall Rudeus himself, and about the one responsible for all of them.
The main staff for the anime was previously announced and includes:

Season 3 began with Volume 14, for which Seven Seas describes the story:
Nanahoshi, Rudeus, and the rest of their group take a trip to Perugius’s mysterious floating fortress, seeking adventure and a once-in-a-lifetime chance to learn new magic. What they find instead is disaster as one of their number is struck down by a deadly illness. How far will Rudeus go to save a dear friend’s life?

The anime is based on a light novel by Rifujin na Magonote with Shirotaka’s illustrations. Seven Seas is publishing the light novel in English.
The series is also launching a game titled Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation – Chronicle of Echoes this year. It is a free-to-play game with in-app purchases developed by ASOBIMO.
