A special “Yuna First Live” event from Sword Art Online The Movie: Ordinal Scale was streamed on April 29, 2026, matching the in-universe date of the concert in the film.
The broadcast was released on Aniplex’s official YouTube channel, recreating the fictional performance as it occurs within the story timeline. The event highlights Yuna, the character whose concert plays a big role in Ordinal Scale.
Yuna is performed by the late Sayaka Kanda for vocals, with voice acting by Risae Matsuda. The setlist includes songs such as “Ubiquitous dB” and “longing,” both featured in the original film. You can see the key visual for the event below.
Originally released in 2017, Sword Art Online The Movie: Ordinal Scale is set in 2026 and centers on an augmented reality system known as Ordinal Scale.
The franchise has a new game, Sword Art Online: Echoes of Aincrad game, set to release worldwide on July 10 with a long-form promotional anime titled Unanswered//butterfly alongside it. New information on its upcoming original movie will also be revealed around that date.
