Tales of Luminaria Mobile Game Officially Released

The mobile anime RPG Tales of Luminaria got officially released on November 4. Colopl developed the game while Bandai Namco Entertainment is publishing it worldwide. It is available on iOS and Android devices.

Tales of Luminaria is also receiving an anime adaptation produced by studio Kamikaze Douga titled Tales of Luminaria the Fateful Crossroad. The series will be available to stream on Funimation.

Staff & Production

Bandai Namco Entertainment revealed Tales of Luminaria at Gamescom 2021. It will be available on iOS and Android devices. Colopl is developing the game while Bandai Namco Entertainment is publishing it worldwide.

Sekina Aoi, Okina Baba, Shunsaku Yano, and Takashi Tanaka are writing the scenario for the game while Shun Saeki is in charge of the character designs.

Go Shiina composed the music for the game. He also composed the music for the God Eater and Tales of series. What’s more, he contributed to composing the music for the anime series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba along with Yuki Kajiura.

In addition, the Japanese rock band Frederic and singer Keina Suda will be performing the theme songs for the game.

Tales of Luminaria Overview

The Japanese RPG Tales of Luminaria is the 18th game franchise in the Tales of series by Bandai Namco Entertainment. It features a total of 21 protagonists divided into 3 sections, the Jerle Federation, Gildllan Empire, and the Adventurer. In this world, prosperity is built by the unknown enormous living form “Primordial Beasts,” whose “Mana” transcends human knowledge.

The Federation regards Primordial Beasts as sacred and emphasizes coexistence with nature, while the Empire depends on Primordial Beasts as the energy source to develop their technology and civilization.
