The Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity Unveils Episode 5 Preview

The Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity episode 5 preview has been unveiled on the anime’s official website. The main staff and synopsis were also revealed. Rino Yamazaki (Spy x Family) is writing the script for the episode set to premiere on Saturday, August 2.

The synopsis of Episode 5:
Rintaro is discovered by Shohei, Saku, and Ayato reading a notebook that includes a message from Kaoruko. When confronted, he coldly refuses to explain, repeatedly saying, “I don’t want to talk about it.” Saku becomes visibly furious at Rintaro’s stubborn silence, leading to a tense atmosphere between them. Wanting to mend things, Shohei and Ayato try to find out why Saku is so angry, but when they ask, Saku gives them an unexpected answer.

Studio CloverWorks is animating the series based on a manga by Saka Mikami. Miyuki ‌Kuroki is credited as director while Satoshi Yamaguchi is the associate director. Rino Yamazaki is writing the series compositio and Koheu Tokuka is designing the characters and chief animation director. The voice cast includes:

  • Honoka Inoue as Kaoruko Waguri
  • Yoshinori Nakayama as Rintaro Tsumugi
  • Kikunosuke Toya as Shohei Usami
  • Koki Uchiyama as Saku Natsusawa
  • Hiiro Ishibashi as Ayato Yorita
  • Aya Yamane as Subaru Hoshina
