The previously announced To Your Eternity Season 3 revealed a teaser visual and an October 2025 premiere date. The staff and cast for the third season are yet to be revealed.
Brain’s Base animated the first season which premiered in April 2021 and was directed by Masahiko Murata. Shinzo Fujita wrote the series composition, Koji Yabuno designed the characters, and Ryo Kawasaki composed the music. Studio Drive replaced Brain’s Base in the second season with Kiyoko Sayama as the new director. The sequel aired from October 2022 to March 2023 with 20 episodes. Reiji Kawashima voiced the main character Fushi in both seasons.
To Your Eternity anime is based on a manga series written and illustrated by Yoshitoki Oima. It was launched in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine in November 2016. It currently has 23 volumes in circulation
Crunchyroll is streaming the series and describes the plot as:
In the beginning, an “orb” is cast unto Earth. “It” can do two things: change into the form of the thing that stimulates “it”; and come back to life after death. “It” morphs from orb to rock, then to wolf, and finally to boy, but roams about like a newborn who knows nothing. As a boy, “it” becomes Fushi. Through encounters with human kindness, Fushi not only gains survival skills, but grows as a “person”. But his journey is darkened by the inexplicable and destructive enemy Nokker, as well as cruel partings with the people he loves.
