The upcoming Tying the Knot With an Amagami Sister anime released a trailer featuring the second sister Yuna. The anime also unveiled a trailer for Yae, the older sibling of Yuna yesterday. The voice actress for both characters is yet to be announced.
Studio Drive (To Your Eternity Season 2) is animating the series with Yujiro Abe (Konosuba: An Explosion on This Wonderful World!) as director and Hiroshi Watanabe (Meganebu!) as the assistant director. Yasuko Aoki (My Tiny Senpai) is writing the series composition and Haruka Iizuka (Sugar Apple Fairy Tale) is handling the character designs.
Tying the Knot With an Amagami Sister (Amagami-san Chi no Enmusubi) anime adaptation is based on a manga written and illustrated by Marcey Naito, who previously worked as Negi Haruba’s (The Quintessential Quintuplets) assistant. The manga began its serialization in April 2021 in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine. Kodansha USA is publishing the series in English and they described the story as follows:
Uryu Kamihate has had a rough start to life, but plans to forget it all by achieving his dream—matriculating into medical school. But when he arrives at his new foster home, a working shrine, his dream of a quiet place to study goes up in smoke. Not only will he be living with the three beautiful, lively Amagami sisters—but he learns that he must marry one of them and take over the temple!
