Voice actress Azumi Waki shared the news of her recent marriage with her long-time partner on her social media accounts. She made the announcement by posting a handwritten letter, and she also shared that they became friends by playing games together. The voice actress promises to continue her growth as an artist while cherishing each and every work and character she encounters.
In a message posted on her official Instagram account, Azumi Waki expressed gratitude to her supporters. “I am truly grateful to you all, and thank you for continuously supporting me. Even when I was in trouble or feeling discouraged, the messages I received have always been a source of emotional support for me.”
Azumi Waki is a voice actress affiliated with the talent agency Haikyo. She is best known for her roles as Maika Sakuranomiya from Blend S, Senko from The Helpful Fox Senko-san, Galko from Please Tell Me! Galko-chan, Special Week from Uma Musume Pretty Derby, Hinata Tachibana from Tokyo Revengers, Adele von Ascham from Didn’t I Say to Make My Abilities Average in the Next Life?!, and Nagisa Minase from Girlfriend Girlfriend. She also voices video game characters like Charlotte from Genshin Impact, Sanae Katagiri from The Idolmaster Cinderella Girls, Clover, Pepi, and Philyshy from Alchemy Stars, Otonashi Ichie from Shoujo Kageki Revue Starlight: Re LIVE, and Seika Kumi from Magia Record.
Aside from being a voice actress, she is also a singer under the record label Nippon Columbia. She made her debut in 2020 and currently has 5 singles and two albums available. Some of the singles served as theme songs for various anime series such as Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear, Shachibato! President, It’s Time for Battle!, and I’ve Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level.
