The previously announced Wash It All Away anime has released a new summer-themed visual on Friday featuring the main character, Wakana Kinme, walking through Atami Water Park. The anime is slated to premiere in 2026.
Studio Okuruto Noboru is animating the series with Kenta Onishi as director. Toko Machida is handling the series composition and Script while Azuma Tozawa is illustrating character designs. Sayumi Suzushiro stars as the main protagonist Wakana Kinme.
Wash It All Away (Kirei ni Shite Moraemasu ka) is a manga series by Mitsuru Hattori. It was serialized in Square Enix’s Young Gangan magazine from July 2017 to June 2023. Square Enix is publishing the series in English and they describe it as follows:
For two years, Wakana Kinme has run a laundry service in the seaside resort town of Atami. Kinme Cleaning is a well-loved business, and Atami residents admire Wakana’s devotion to her trade. She builds a fulfilling life making friends with the locals and visiting hot springs. Although Wakana has no knowledge of her own past, her cleaning services safeguard memories imbued in customers’ precious items.
