World’s End Harem episode 2 is finally out and we were able to see Reito experiencing new things for the first time. As his peculiar life continues, Reito learns the truth about the Male Killer virus. Because of that, he made a decision that will change the entire flow of his life and the world.

Mira sent Akane and Sui to Reito as his nurse and bodyguard, but Akane immediately tried to make a move on Reito. The new experience made him collapse, though we don’t know exactly why. Judging from the looks of it, he simply collapsed from the shock or sudden excitement. In this part, we can already see Reito’s inevitable harem being formed. With the addition of Akane and Sui to his life, he has now 4 women around him.
In episode 2 of World’s End Harem, Reito also started the search for Erisa. He went to Erisa’s former workplace to look for clues. If you watched this part of the episode carefully, you probably noticed that there were some scenes that showed a certain girl wearing a lab gown. The cuts of the show didn’t give an emphasis to the mysterious person, but she was shown multiple times without revealing the upper part of the body and face. That should be enough to say that she will be part of the story in the future. Then, a wild animal was suddenly released into the facility and, according to the staff, it escaped because of poor security. Because of the sudden turn of events, Reito learned some of Akane and Sui’s secrets while dealing with the animal. He also experienced trying to be a hero for the first time.
Because of the event sequence, I can’t help but think that the mysterious woman might have something to do with the sudden attack of the wild bear. We might be able to learn more about this in future episodes.
Reito went to Erisa’s former office and there, he felt nostalgic about the past. After reminiscing a bit, he finally decided to conduct research to learn the cure for the MK virus. Of course, this path will surely change his life. Not only did he make a decision, but he also announced it to the whole world through a broadcast. It is also possible that Erisa watched this broadcast, wherever she is. This particular event might also change the whole world because the people learned that a man is still alive. This scene is likely to be one of the turning points and references for the future events of the series.
While immersing himself in research, Reito discovered that Erisa left him a message before she went missing. There, he learned the truth about the Male Killer virus. I think it is safe to assume that the truth behind it is one of the reasons why Erisa is missing right now. That said, Reito is becoming closer and closer to Mira as the days pass by, though he still seems completely loyal to Erisa.
