SAKAMOTO DAYS has announced the voice cast for the Dondenkai assassins Boiled and Obiguro. They will appear in Episode 4, which will premiere on Netflix worldwide on February 1. The new cast additions include:
- Yasuhiro Mamiya as Boiled
- Yumi Uchiyama as Obiguro

Boiled: A “hard-boiled” assassin with a personal connection to Sakamoto dating back to their time at JCC (an assassin training institution). Boil operates by a strict motto: “Never take lives except for the target.” He specializes in explosive-based attacks and is currently a member of the Dondenkai.
Yasuhiro Mamiya’s comment: “I am honored to play Boiled, a hitman from the Dondenkai organization, in the TV anime SAKAMOTO DAYS. With his sunglasses, beard, and fists as his main weapons, Boiled is a character who embodies hardboiled action with a touch of romance and sympathy, which I connected with while performing.
Together with my partner Obiguro, we’re here to throw chaos into the mix as we pursue Sakamoto and his group of misfits. Please enjoy how the dynamics unfold as we relentlessly chase after them! And Obiguro… stop scraping me with your heels! It’s painful, you know. (Laughs)”
Obiguro: Another assassin affiliated with the Dondenkai, Taikuro forms a powerful combat duo with Boil. A master of Osatsu-ryu Karate, Obiguro has a brutal reputation, reportedly killing over 100 people alongside Boil during a conflict two years ago.
Yumi Uchiyama’s comment: “I play Obiguro, a hitman affiliated with the Dondenkai organization. I love her interaction with her partner Boiled, where her hardboiled demeanor is matched with moments of innocent reactions that reveal a cute side. The stark contrast between her usual toughness and these moments is so charming!
The recording atmosphere was very relaxed and fun, and everyone’s performances were so engaging that I found myself laughing during the recording process. I’m truly grateful for such an enjoyable experience. I hope everyone looks forward to how the story develops from here!”
Yuto Suzuki writes and draws the SAKAMOTO DAYS manga, which has been serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine since 2020. Studio TMS Entertainment is in charge of the anime adaptation, with Netflix streaming it worldwide.
VIZ Media licensed the manga in English. The franchise also announced its first game for a Spring 2025 release, while the second part of the anime is set for July.
