Urusei Yatsura Season 2 has revealed a new visual, as well as a January 2024 release date. The anime reboot was announced as a four cour show (46 episodes), with the first two airing consecutively from October 2022 to March 2023. Check out the new visual:
Studio David Production is animating the new adaptation, with HIDIVE streaming it. The staff for the first season included:

Urusei Yatsura is based on a romantic comedy manga by Rumiko Takahashi, serialized from September 1978 until February 1987 in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine. The first anime adaptation had 195 episodes and aired from October 1981 to March 1986. It was animated by Studio DEEN and Pierrot.

Chosen as humanity’s representative in a duel against invading aliens, the womanizing Ataru faces off against the alien princess Lum — and the conflict follows him home when Lum invades both planet Earth AND the reluctant Ataru’s love life!
