The original anime revolves around the story of Shun Tokinoya, a second-year high school student who lives with his mother and younger sister. Devastated by his father’s tragic demise and his sister’s injury, Shun abandoned his once-beloved game and found employment at an esports café called “FOX ONE.” Amidst relentless studying and part-time work, he cherishes the company of his childhood gaming companions.
Unexpectedly, Shun discovers that “FOX ONE” is burdened with an overwhelming debt. To settle this financial crisis, Shun and his friends embark on a mission to conquer the renowned “Xaxerion Championship” and seize the coveted prize money. Battling with a deep sense of remorse, Shun reenters the virtual realm of online gaming, only to confront his former gaming comrade, Bakuretsu-kun.
