Studio GoHands’ upcoming Momentary Lily original anime has unveiled a new visual and the first trailer on Thursday. The cast, staff, and the opening song artist have also been announced, and the series is scheduled to premiere on January 2025.
Shingo Suzuki (Mardock Scramble) is the chief director and character designer. Susumu Kudo (The Girl I Like Forgot Her Glasses) and Katsumasa Yokomine (The Masterful Cat Is Depressed Again Today) are directing the series with Tamazo Yanagi (The Girl I Like Forgot Her Glasses) writing the script. Ryosuke Kojima (The Masterful Cat Is Depressed Again Today) is composing the music and Hanabie is singing the opening theme song. The cast includes:
- Natsuko Abe as Yuri Kawazu
- Tsugumi Sakuragi as Erika Kodaiji
- Shion Wakayama as Hinageshi Usuzumi
- Manatsu Murakami as Renge Kasumi
- Misaki Kuno as Sazanka Yoshino
- Miyuri Shimabukuro as Ayame Sakuya
All the characters were introduced in the first trailer for the anime:
The anime was first revealed in April 2024 coupled with a visual featuring Yuri and Renge and teased the phrase “Our daily life is always fun.” Another visual was unveiled last week with Yuri, Hinageshi and Erika appearing on it.
Momentary Lily will also have a panel at Anime Expo 2024. It will be held on July 4 and include the first episode’s premiere.
