Good Bye, Dragon Life TV anime revealed a new trailer featuring the opening theme song, along with information about the ending song and 2 new cast members. The anime will premiere in October 2024, with studios Synergy SP and Vega Entertainment in charge of the animation.
The ending song “Kimi to Mita Keshiki” will be performed by EverdreaM. Its member Sekine Hitomi is voicing the female main character Celina, while the other member Matsuoka Misato was cast as Leticia. The opening theme song is “Together Forever” by LUN8, and you can hear it in the new trailer below.
The Good Bye, Dragon Life anime staff consists of Kenichi Nishida as the director, Naokatsu Tsuda in charge of the script, Nozomi Kawashige as the character designer, Tatsuhiko Saiki and Hanae Nakamura in charge of the music composition. Besides Matsuoka Misato as Leticia, Eriko Matsui also joined the anime as Marida.

The web novels were first released in 2013 with story by Hiroaki Nagashima and illustrations by Kisuke Ichimaru. AlphaPolis published the first volume of the light novels in March 2015, while a manga adaptation by Hiroaki Nagashima and Kurono began in December 2015. AlphaPolis is releasing it in English via their AlphaManga website, and they describe the story:
After living a long life as the strongest and oldest dragon, he is slain by a human hero. He awakes to find himself reborn as a human, Dolan, in a remote village. He works hard as a farmer and sometimes hunts for food. His life is simple in this small village, but he is surrounded by love. He soon finds happiness he’d never experienced in his life as a dragon. However, dangerous monsters are lurking around his village lately and he goes to the woods to investigate when he finds out an army of monsters are heading his way…
