Starting next month, if you are donating blood in the Tokyo metropolitan area, you’re in for a sweet surprise. As part of the Mayonaka Punch and Tokyo Red Cross collab campaign, anyone who donates 400 ml (0.4 liters) of blood will receive a free, clear file featuring Mayonaka Punch‘s main heroines, Live and Masaki, dressed in kawaii nurse uniforms!
Billed as “Your blood donation will help someone!” the Mayonaka Punch x Tokyo Red Cross collab campaign will run from September 1 to October 15 throughout all blood donation rooms in the Tokyo Metropolitan area. So, if you’re in Tokyo and feel like doing something good but doing it for free seems kind of meh, take advantage of this opportunity! Not only will you help someone, you’ll get cute waifu merch!
A P.A. Works original anime, Mayonaka Punch, is currently streaming on Crunchyroll as part of its 2024 summer line-up. Mayonaka Punch features Shu Honma as its director, Hideaki Shirasaka on the script, and Ryota Arima on character designs. The voice cast for the show includes:
- Fairouz Ai as Live
- Ikumi Hasegawa as Masaki
- Ai Kayano as Yuki
- Hina Yomiya as Fuu
- Hitomi Ueda as Tokage
- Yuina Ito as Ichiko
After punching one of her co-hosts during a live stream, Masaki is fired from her role in the popular NewTube steaming group, the Harikiri Sister. As she tries to reclaim her fame, her live-streamed punch results in little luck for her future prospects. To try and reclaim her fame, she wanders into an abandoned hospital to film an urban exploration video on the paranormal to re-start her career, but she gets more than she bargained for. Her exploration leads her to new heights (literally) as she encounters the vampire Live, and as the two team up to start a new YouTube page, Masaki’s dream of creating a channel with 1 million subscribers seems closer than ever.
