Cyberpunk – New Animated Project Announcement | Collaboration Between Netflix and CDPR

CD PROJEKT RED (or CDPR) is the company behind the Cyberpunk 2077 video game. The first animated series was Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, which was animated by TRIGGER and had Rafał Jaki as showrunner and executive producer. Jaki recently got No\Name, the manga he’s creating along with MACHINE GAMU (art), serialized under Shueisha.

Cyberpunk: Edgerunners was released in September 2022 and had a total of 10 episodes. It was voted as the Best New Anime of the year in our yearly awards for that year, as well as the Best Original Anime. Netflix is streaming the show, describing its story:
The series tells a standalone, 10-episode story about a street kid trying to survive in Night City — a technology and body modification-obsessed city of the future. Having everything to lose, he stays alive by becoming an edgerunner — a mercenary outlaw also known as a cyberpunk.
