“Congratulations on the 25th anniversary! I’m very happy to be participating in another Yu-Gi-Oh event following the Tokyo Dome. I’ve had the opportunity to perform three opening theme songs for the series. When writing the lyrics, I always keep in mind how they align with the world of the series and the emotions of the characters. I’m looking forward to dueling with the audience through music on the day of the event! Please enjoy and sing along.” - Masami Okui
“It is a great honor to be part of the Yu-Gi-Oh Series 25th Duelist Live Kingdom. Thank you for the opportunity. I still remember the excitement and emotion I felt when I was first told that I would be performing the theme song for Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Monsters—it feels like it was just yesterday. I will sing with all my heart, cherishing the emotions from that time as well as the ever-evolving world of the series. Alongside the other theme song artists, I hope this event will be a miraculous day where the past, present, and future coexist.” - Masaaki Endoh
“First of all, congratulations on Yu-Gi-Oh’s 25th anniversary. I feel honored to have been involved in a franchise with such a long history. I performed the opening themes and insert songs for Yu-Gi-Oh 5D’s during its fourth and fifth seasons. I can’t believe 5D’s was 15 years ago—it feels like time has flown by. I will make sure to fulfill my role in this special 25th-anniversary live event. I will sing with all my energy and gratitude. Let’s have fun together! See you there.” - vistlip
“Hello, I’m Tomo, the vocalist of vistlip. We were honored to perform “OZONE” for Yu-Gi-Oh 5D’s and “Artist” for Yu-Gi-Oh ZEXAL. I’m deeply grateful for being part of two series. People still bring up “OZONE” to this day, which I find amusing. At first, I thought, ‘Wait! The lyrics are great! There’s nothing weird about them!’ But after all this time, I now see it as a form of love and appreciation. It’s truly remarkable that Yu-Gi-Oh continues to hold events like this. We are proud to be part of its history, and we’ll do our best to make it an amazing event. As long as you’re above the ozone layer, there’s no problem—so make sure to come and see us.” - Hideaki Takatori
“As the performer of “Unbreakable Heart” from Yu-Gi-Oh ZEXAL, I am deeply honored to participate in this special 25th-anniversary event. I look forward to sharing the passion and unwavering spirit that I put into this song with everyone once again. The series represents dreams and challenges, and I will bring my best to make this a memorable moment for all the fans. Let’s create an unforgettable dueling experience together.” - Yusuke Saeki (SAEKI youthK)
“Creating the opening theme for Yu-Gi-Oh SEVENS, the first installment of the series’ latest direction, came with a lot of pressure. However, I was later told that the song perfectly captured the essence of SEVENS, which made me incredibly happy. It has since become one of my favorite songs. This might be my first time performing it live in front of an audience…? I hope to see you all at the venue—let’s sing, dance, and go wild together! Na-na-na-na-na-na-na!” - Ayaka Nanase
“Congratulations on Yu-Gi-Oh’s 25th anniversary. When I was in elementary school, all my classmates were obsessed with Yu-Gi-Oh. I never imagined that I would have the opportunity to take part in this anniversary celebration—it’s an incredible honor! I performed the ending themes “STAR RUSH” and “It Won’t Be Goodbye” for Yu-Gi-Oh GO RUSH!!. A full day of Yu-Gi-Oh music from across 25 years—what a luxurious and intense experience it will be! I’m already excited for it. Let’s all share this special moment together.”

Background on Yu-Gi-Oh
Yu-Gi-Oh (stylized as Yu-Gi-Oh!) is a globally popular franchise that first began as a manga series by Kazuki Takahashi in 1996. It revolves around games, with a focus on the Duel Monsters trading card game. The story follows Yugi Muto, who solves an ancient Egyptian puzzle known as the Millennium Puzzle, which unleashes the spirit of a mysterious Pharaoh. They then have all kinds of card battles and other games to protect their friends and uncover the mystery behind Pharaoh’s lost memories.
The franchise has since become an iconic trading card game (Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG/OCG), multiple anime series (including Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters, GX, 5D’s, ZEXAL, ARC-V, and more), video games, and movies. A remaster of the anime Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Monsters GX was also recently announced for April 2025.
