Ruri no Hoseki: Introduction to Mineralogy (Ruri Rocks) by Studio Bind revealed a new key visual, along with comments from the voice cast. The anime is set to premiere in 2025, with the new update coming at the currently ongoing AnimeJapan 2025.
The full cast consists of:

The moment I read the manga Ruri no Hoseki, I was completely captivated by the dazzling and unknown world of gemstones!
During voice recording, we were already working with partially colored visuals, and they were so stunning. The characters were so lively, I remember feeling the tension rise.
I poured my heart into the role, trying to match the energy of Yoko’s “engine.”

Ruri no Hoseki is my first regular role in an anime series, and although I felt nervous, I was supported by the wonderful cast and crew.
In the story, Shoko also starts off a bit unsure, but with the help of Nagi and Yoko, she grows alongside her best friend Ruri.
It’s like watching a raw stone being polished into a beautiful gem — heartwarming, charming, and visually stunning. Please look forward to it!
Misuzu Yamada (as Aoi Kasamaru):
I’m Misuzu Yamada, voicing Aoi Kasamaru, Ruri’s somewhat tomboyish friend.
I personally love stones, so every recording session felt exciting as I listened to Nagi’s explanations with the same sparkling curiosity as Ruri!
Aoi spends a lot of time with Ruri in her school life, so I hope viewers enjoy the everyday atmosphere unique to high school girls.

Shingo Fujii will direct the anime, while the main staff also includes Michiko Yokote in charge of the series composition, Mayu Fuji as the character designer, and Daisuke Achiwa working with Kazuki Yanagawa on the music.
Ruri no Hoseki is a Japanese manga written and drawn by Keiichiro Shibuya. It has been serialized in Enterbrain’s Harta since magazine since August 2019, with 5 volumes released as of September 13, 2024. The story follows Ruri, a young girl who likes jewelry and gemstones, as she enters the world of mineralogy and learns more about it.
Studio Bind is currently working on the Flower and Asura adaptation, which is set to end next week on March 26. Mushoku Tensei Season 3 was announced without a release date.
