Shinya Misu’s manga Osananajimi to wa Love Comedy ni Naranai (No More Love With the Girls) is getting an anime adaptation by Tezuka Productions (The Quintessential Quintuplets, The Café Terrace and Its Goddesses).
Alongside the announcement, a teaser visual and trailer were unveiled and the series is set to premiere in 2026. The staff and cast are yet to be revealed.
Osananajimi to wa LoveCom ni Naranai is written and illustrated by Shinya Misu. It was launched on Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket website in March 2022 and it has currently 14 volumes available. The 15th volume is set to release on April 9, 2025.
The story centers on Eeyuu, a high school student who finds himself in a dilemma as his childhood friends, Shio and Akari, have grown into incredibly attractive young women. Attending the same high school, he struggles to hide the fact that he now sees them in a different light and fears the consequences if they were to find out. Meanwhile, Shio and Akari each harbor their own secret adding a mix of awkwardness and romantic confusion that unfolds in this sweet yet complicated love triangle comedy where childhood friendships are put to the test.
