The popular horror comedy manga “Mieruko-chan” is getting an anime adaptation, coming 2021! The manga is written and illustrated by Tomoki Izumi, and has been ongoing since November 2018. The story follows Miko, a girl who can see horrifying monsters but pretends she doesn’t. You can check out the 2 versions of the visual for the anime:

The studio in charge is Passione (Rokka no Yuusha, Higurashi: When They Cry – Gou). The director is Ogawa Yuuki (Interspecies Reviewers), while the script will be handled by Ihara Kenta (Youjo Senki, Vinland Saga, Ajin). The author also made a special illustration to commemorate the anime announcement:

“Mieruko-chan” sounds like a very fun, and the anime will definitely be worth checking out! The show will be produced by Studio Passione!
