Crunchyroll‘s third Ani-May celebration will let fans watch several anime for free with ads starting on May 1, including Solo Leveling (Season 1), Demon Slayer, Jujutsu Kaisen, Cowboy Bebop, Haikyu!!, Shangri-La Frontier, The Apothecary Diaries (Season 1), and more, for a total of 20 titles.
Also for Ani-May: Grisaia Phantom Trigger Vol.1 and several more games are heading to Crunchyroll Game Vault, Crunchyroll Store will be open sales for several new home video releases like Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End Season 1 Part 2 Limited-Edition (Blu-ray), and a swathe of anime partnerships and events are scheduled for the U.S. and Canada, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, Australia, and New Zealand.
Highlights include exclusive merch collaborations with Uniqlo and Hot Topic in the U.S. and Canada, meet-and-greets in Mexico with anime voice actors, free Crunchyroll subscription promotions in Spain and Latin America, with many firsts and returning events again this year. These include Ani-May debuts in Müller stores in Germany and Austria, ANVOL stores in the Nordic states, and returns to HMV in the UK, Ireland, and Belgium, as well as Funside/Games Academy in Italy.
As fans stream Demon Slayer and more anime for free on Crunchyroll this May, North America also welcomes the theatrical re-release of Demon Slayer – Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train on May 14, ahead of Infinity Castle‘s global release beginning August 14.
