Crunchyroll and Discord have announced a new collaboration that brings My Hero Academia to the Discord platform through a themed profile collection, marking the first anime partnership of its kind on the service. Starting on May 21, 2025, users in North America, Latin America, EMEA, and Australia/New Zealand can customize their Discord profiles with exclusive content inspired by the long-running anime series.
The collaboration features a collection of eight Avatar Decorations and three Profile Effects, all modeled after My Hero Academia characters and their Quirks. Featured characters include Izuku Midoriya (Deku), Katsuki Bakugo, Ochaco Uraraka, All Might, and Tomura Shigaraki, among others.
This partnership comes ahead of the My Hero Academia FINAL SEASON (Season 8), which is scheduled to premiere in October 2025 on Crunchyroll. Anna Songco Adamian, Vice President of Global Consumer Products at Crunchyroll, highlighted the collaborative effort: “Now, through this collaboration with Discord, users can level up to display their inner hero, just in time for the anime’s epic final season.”
The launch of the My Hero Academia Shop Collection on Discord also coincides with the lead-up to the 2025 Anime Awards, set to take place on May 25. The series has received nominations in two major categories: Film of the Year for My Hero Academia: You’re Next and Best Continuing Series for its seventh season.
