Evangelion Store & Buyee Release 30th Anniversary Limited-Edition Kimono Artwork Character Cards Overseas for Qualifying Orders

The cross-border e-commerce service Buyee announced a special collaboration campaign with the Evangelion Store in Japan exclusively for overseas customers to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Neon Genesis Evangelion TV series.

From June 1 to September 30, 2025, fans outside of Japan who make a purchase of at least 5,000 JPY (~$35) (before tax) at the Evangelion Store via Buyee will receive a limited-edition transparent character card featuring original artwork of your favorite Evangelion characters dressed in traditional Japanese kimono-style outfits. Each qualifying order can receive up to five randomly selected cards (duplicates are possible). In addition to the limited-time Evangelion card campaign, Evangelion Store has also been releasing original 30th-anniversary merchandise, which includes an acrylic display block, pin badge, sticker set, keychains, a TV series + movie collection, and t-shirts. Neon Genesis Evangelion aired from October 1995 to March 1996 and is one of the most acclaimed anime of all time. Hideaki Anno directed the series at Gainax and Tatsunoko. Anno later secured the rights to the Evangelion IP, releasing the Rebuild of Evangelion reboot at Khara across four films from 2007 to 2021. Netflix streams the Neon Genesis Evangelion TV series while Amazon Prime Video streams the Rebuilds.

Netflix describes the 26-episode Neon Genesis Evangelion series, “Fifteen years after the Second Impact, Shinji Ikari joins his father’s group NERV as one of several teenage mecha pilots fighting the monstrous Angels.
