The upcoming Sentenced to Be a Hero anime has been officially delayed to January 2026, with its first episode confirmed as a 60-minute special. The series was originally scheduled to begin airing in October 2025.

According to the official statement, the release was postponed to allow additional time for improving the show’s overall quality in order to deliver a better final product to the fans.
