Japanese artist WurtS will release a new digital single titled “Doukashiteru” on July 11, marking its debut as the ending theme for DAN DA DAN Season 2. The announcement coincides with the premiere of the new season airing tonight in Japan.
The single’s release includes newly illustrated cover art featuring the main characters Momo and Okarun.
The song was previously also featured in the anime’s trailer titled “Friendship & Love.”
WurtS, who launched his solo music career in 2021, is known for handling all aspects of his music production, including songwriting, arrangement, and visual design. His style features elements of dance, rock, hip-hop, and soul.
The track will be available on the major streaming platforms starting on July 11.

Yukinobu Tatsu writes and draws the DAN DA DAN manga, which has been serialized on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ platform since 2021. Nineteen volumes have been released as of April 2025, with Volume 20 set to release in Japan on July 4 (tomorrow).
