Hero Without a Class: Who Even Needs Skills anime revealed it sfirst trailer, along with announcing the theme songs. Studio A-CAT (The Beginning After the End) is handling the animation, and the anime is set to premiere in October 2025. HIDIVE will stream it with English subtitles.
The opening theme song is “Reincarnation” by Kaya, while the ending song is “Kiseki Nanka Iranai” by UTAHIME DREAM ALLSTARS. The opening is featured in the trailer, and you can check it out below.

Hero Without a Class: Who Even Needs Skills?! (Mushoku no Eiyu: Betsu ni Sukiru Nanka Iranakattan da ga) is a Japanese light novel series by Shichio Kuzu, featuring illustrations by Yumehito Ueda. The story was originally published online through the Shosetsuka ni Naro website, running from November 2017 to May 2020. It later became part of Earth Star Entertainment’s catalog, with the company beginning its print release under the Earth Star Novel imprint in July 2018.
There is also a manga adaptation illustrated by Akio Nanae, which debuted in November 2018 on Earth Star Entertainment’s Comic Earth Star website. One Peace Books licensed the manga in English, describing the story:
In a world where everyone receives a Class and Skills at the age of ten, and where such revelations have a huge impact on one’s life, Arel, the son of Sword Princess Farah and Archmage Leon, learns that he has… no class at all! With no class, and no skills, all that’s left for Arel is hard work. And so, he takes to training, utilizing wits and cunning to emerge as an all-new type of hero!
