WANDANCE, the upcoming street dancing anime by MADHOUSE and CYCLONE GRAPHICS, revealed its first teaser trailer. The anime was announced in August last year, and it will have Rie Hata (also known as the “Queen of Swag”) as a dance producer.
As previously announced, the anime will stream exclusively on Disney+ (Disney Plus) from October 2025. The voice cast for the anime includes
- Koki Uchiyama as Kaboku Kotani
- Hina Yomiya as Hikari Wanda
- Ayaka Suwa as On Miyao
- Toshiki Masuda as Iori Itsukushima
- Yuma Uchida as Gaku Kabeya
- Yu Hayashi as Usen Takumi
- Chikahiro Kobayashi as Assay

Originally serialized in Monthly Afternoon since January 2019, WANDANCE is written and illustrated by Coffee. Kodansha USA publishes the manga in English. The story follows Kaboku Kotani, a reserved high school student who struggles with a stutter and prefers to avoid attention. His life takes a major turn when he meets classmate Hikari Wanda, whose passion for dance inspires him to step outside of his comfort zone. Motivated by her confidence, Kaboku joins the school’s dance club himself, discovering a whole new world.
