The award-winning film, Violet Evergarden: The Movie, is set to release on Blu-Ray & DVD in Japan on August 4, 2021. The Blu-ray special edition will include a UHD-BD disc with Dolby Vision® and Dolby Atmos®.
The movie premiered in Japan on September 18, 2020, and has earned a total revenue of $20,086,270 worldwide! Additionally, Funimation is screening the movie since March 30, 2021, in U.S. and Canada.
Violet Evergarden: The Movie received the Digital Amusement award. It’s a prize that the Kyoto prefectural government awards in its annual Kyoto Digital Amusement contest.
