The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten announced on Tuesday that its main heroine, Mahiru Shiina, will be making her idol debut. A teaser visual, trailer, and official website were unveiled alongside the release of her cover of “Aoi Sangoshou.”
The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten is a light novel series by Saekisan with illustrations by Hanekoto. It was first serialized on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website, while SB Creative acquired and began publishing it under its GA Bunko label from June 2019. It also has a manga adaptation with art by Wan Shibata and composition by Suzu Yuki.
The light novel inspired an anime series with Studio Project No. 9 animating. The first season premiered in January 2023, while the second season is set to debut in April 2026. Manaka Iwami is voicing Mahiru Shiina. Crunchyroll is streaming the first season, describing it as follows:
