The previously announced Tetsuryo! Meet With Tetsudou Musume original anime revealed its main cast during the Hatachi dayo! Tetsudo Musume 20th anniversary livestream. The main cast consists of:
- May Tachibana as Misaki Sata
- Mao Shoji as Kodama Orihara
- Haruna Fukushima as Ushio Yagami
- Hika Tsukishiro as Usa Harutachi
Misuzu Hoshino (Hokkaido Gals Are Super Adorable!) is directing the series at East Fish Studio. Aya Satsuki (Too Cute Crisis) is writing the series composition and scripts, while Naofumi Hashimoto (Laid-Back Camp season 3) is the character designer.
Launched by Tommytec in 2005, the Tetsudou Musume project features over 100 characters in train-related jobs, each wearing the uniforms of real railway companies across Japan. Their names are drawn from stations, trains, and other facilities along the rail networks. The anime follows four girls travelling around Japan and enjoying the railways.
