The previously announced Whoever Steals This Book anime movie has released a new trailer and six more cast members. The movie will premiere on December 26 in Japan, and the additional cast members are the following:

Nowaki Fukamidori writes the novel, which is published by Kadokawa Shoten. A paperback edition under the Kadokawa Bunko imprint was released in June 2023. A manga adaptation with illustrations by Kakeru Sora ran in Kadokawa Shoten’s Young Ace magazine from December 2021 to March 2023. Yen Press is licensing the title in English, and they describe the story as follows:
Descended from a long line of book collectors, high school student Mifuyu is surrounded by books in every aspect of her life. Her great-grandfather established the famous Mikura Hall, a library in the heart of town, and even the townspeople are all avid readers. There’s just one problem—Mifuyu hates books!
