The upcoming Magic Repo Man: Dumped by My Party, I’ll Cash In With a Cute Support Fairy to Become the Strongest TV anime revealed its first trailer, also confirming its main cast and October 2026 release date.
Based on the manga by Shingo Iijima and original story by Masakichi, the story follows Lent, a kind-hearted adventurer whose unique Gift allows him to lend his magic power to allies. After helping his companions grow into powerful heroes, he is ultimately deemed useless and expelled from the party he helped build.
The main cast includes:
- Reiji Kawashima as Lent
- Emiri Kato as Empee, the fairy companion
- Daiki Hamano as Guy
- Akira Sekine as Misa
- Yu Kobayashi as Elle
The new trailer shows Lent’s transformation as he awakens the true power hidden within his Gift: the ability to forcibly reclaim the magic he previously loaned out. He then begins collecting his debt from the former party members who betrayed him. Check out the trailer below.
The anime is directed by Takahiro Tamano at studio SynergySP, with Ryusuke Mori in charge of the series composition and Kazue Mori serving as character designer. Veteran composer Ko Otani, known for his work on Shadow of the Colossus and Mobile Suit Gundam Wing, is handling the music. Official introduction:
This is a world where a person’s life is greatly shaped by the “Gift” bestowed upon them by the Creator God. A kind-hearted boy named Lent, who lives in a remote frontier village, receives an exceedingly rare support-type ability called 《Mana Vault》, which allows him to lend his own magical power to his companions.
Together with his childhood friends from the village, he forms the adventuring party “Skycleaver Sword” and sets out on a journey, determined to fulfill his role as the team’s support specialist. However, because Lent never seems to grow stronger himself, he comes to be seen as dead weight and is mercilessly expelled from the party.
Consumed by intense anger and a desire for revenge, Lent’s Gift evolves, awakening its true power… A skill that allows him to forcibly reclaim the vast amounts of magical power he had been lending all along. Seizing back the mana from the former comrades who betrayed him, Lent grows stronger from what he recovers.
Thus begins the tale of Lent’s revenge.
