NIPPON SANGOKU concluded the Seii Western Expedition Arc (Season 1) today in Japan, getting a special commemorative illustration by the series’ creator to commemorate the ending. The last episode was Episode 12, initially premiering on Sunday, June 21, on streaming platforms.
Studio Kafka was in charge of the animation, while the anime was co-produced with Amazon MGM Studios and is available for streaming on Prime Video. You can see the new illustration by Ikka Matsuki below.

NIPPON SANGOKU (meaning “Japan: Three Kingdoms”) is a manga series by Ikka Matsuki, who serves as both writer and artist. The series started publication in November 2021 through Shogakukan’s Ura Sunday platform and the MangaONE app. The official introduction:
