We got to take a look at the behind-the-scenes of the upcoming anime series The World’s Finest Assassin Gets Reincarnated in Another World as an Aristocrat during this year’s Virtual Crunchyroll Expo. Look forward to its premiere in October 2021!
The series will be the anime adaptation of another work from the Redo of Healer author, Rui Tsukiyo. In addition, SILVER LINK and Palette are handling the animation along with the light novel illustrator Reia.
Masafumi Tamura, the series’ director, was a guest on the panel, where he discussed the series production. Along with the director, the discussion included screenwriter Katsuhiko Takayama and producer Satoshi Motonaga.
The panel showed off the main weapon that the protagonist will be using in the anime. The design was based on the CheyTac M200 sniper, which goes to show just how much detail went into planning the series.

Lugh (CV: Kenji Akabane)
“He was very difficult to animate. He’s a complicated character to direct and animate. He’s the cool guy on the inside, but everyone wanted him to be this handsome young boy. I had the animators focus on making Lugh a handsome young boy. We went for a style that expressed his coolness.” – Masafumi Tamura, Director
