Z-kai Group x “Summer Ghost” collaboration video is now available in full after Zkaipr uploaded the four-minute video on their YouTube channel on August 24, 2021.

The short version of the video was first released on February 19, together with the release of the first key visual for the Summer Ghost film. The movie will premiere in Japan on November 12, 2021.

Loundraw, the character designer for Vivy: The Flourite Eye and I want to Eat Your Pancreas illustrator is directing the Summer Ghost anime movie. Flat Studio (Before You Wake Up) will be the one in charge of the film’s animation. In addition, Chiaki Kobayashi (young Askeladd from Vinland Saga) will be voicing the main character, Tomoya Sugisaki.
Movie Synopsis
Tomoya, Aoi, and Ryo are high school students who met through the Internet. There is an urban legend about a young female ghost known as the “Summer Ghost. It is said to be the ghost of a young woman who appears when fireworks are lit.
Tomoya is unable to step out into the life he wants. Aoi can’t find her place in the world. Ryo, whose shining future is suddenly closed off.
