The upcoming anime adaptation of Banished from the Hero’s Party, I Decided to Live a Quiet Life in the Countryside has a new trailer. The anime premiers on October 6th, 2021.
The new Banished from the Hero’s Party trailer features the OP song by Yui Nishio. The opening is titled “Ikiwosuu Koko de suu Ikiteku”:
The ending theme information is also available. JYOCHO is performing “All the Same”.
The anime was originally scheduled to premiere in July 2021 but was delayed. Wolfbane and Studio Flad are animating the series. Makoto Hoshino (King’s Raid) is directing, while Megumi Shimizu (My Next Life as a Villainess) is in charge of series composition. Ruriko Watanabe (Mirai Nikki) is credited for main character designs. Yukari Hashimoto (Kakushigoto) is composing the music.
Ryouta Suzuki is the main character Red, while Kanon Takao voices Rit. Kenta Miyake, Rie Kugimiya, Sora Amamiya, and Aya Uchida are also starring in the anime.
Banished from the Hero’s Party, I Decided to Live a Quiet Life in the Countryside light novel
The anime is based on a light novel written by Zappon and illustrated by Yasumo. The light novel started serialization in 2018 in Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko imprint. A manga adaptation is also ongoing. Yen Press licensed the light novel and describes the plot as:
A heroic and mighty adventurer dreams of…opening a pharmacy?
