On September 24 the official website for The Aquatope on White Sand revealed a new visual and promotional video (PV) for the series. In addition, the website introduced new characters and announced who would be voicing them.
The new PV, which contains a snippet of the series’ second theme song, can be viewed below. The song, titled “Tomedonai Shiosai ni Bokutachi wa Nani wo Utau Darо̄ ka”, is performed by ARCANA PROJECT. The band has previously performed the ED for Redo of Healer, the OP for Monster Girl Doctor, and Aquatope‘s first OP.
Aquatope‘s new PV shows us a recap of what happened at the end of the series’ first cour, and also presents us with some new clips. Additionally, the new key visual, shown below, shows the new characters who will be present in the series’ second cours.

Synopsis
The Aquatope on White Sand is an original anime by P.A. Works. Crunchyroll describes the plot as follows.
Kukuru Misakino is a 18-year-old girl who works at an aquarium and she encounters a former idol who lost her place in Tokyo and escaped to Okinawa named Fuka Miyazawa. Kukuru and Fuka spend their days at the aquarium, their hearts filled with their own passions. But their precious place is about to be shut down forever. The girls face their dreams and reality, loneliness and friendships, bonds and conflicts… This summer is about to turn a glimmering, new page.
