Ms. Vampire Who Lives in My Neighborhood

Amatou originally launched the Ms. Vampire Who Lives in My Neighborhood manga in Monthly Comic Alive in 2013 and posted some chapters in 2014. The same year, it finally started serialization in Monthly Comic Cune as Comic Alive‘s supplemental magazine. Then the magazine went independent with the name intact later in 2015, which is when the series also began again.

The manga received a TV anime adaptation in 2018 with a total of 12 episodes, with co-production by Studio Gokumi and AXsiZ. Tomita Miyu voiced the protagonist, vampire Sophie Twilight. Her voice is known for Iino Miko (Kaguya-sama Love is War) and more. While Sasahara Yu who acted as Kuroiwa Yuki (Diary of Our Days at the Breakwater) in 2020 played Amano Akari. Besides, this was her first main character to perform.

The official English streaming service for the anime, Crunchyroll, describes the plot as:

Human girl Amano Akari is rescued by a vampire, Sophie Twilight, and falls in love with her. She forces herself into Sophie’s home and begins living with her. Though Sophie is a vampire, she never attacks humans, instead buying blood and anime merchandise online like any ordinary person. A modern-day vampire comedy!
